2009 ABA Convention

The American Birding Association has estabished the dates for the 2009 Convention and conferences. Field trips, workshops, tradeshow and keynote speaker await you during the weeklong convention. The convention is in Corpus Christi, TX from 27 April through 3 May 2009 at the Omni Bayfront Hotel on the Corpus Christi Bay.

Two days of workshops to hone ID skills
Daily tradeshow
Keynote speaker: Kenn Kaufman

Target birds: Least Grebe, White tailed Hawk, Buff-breasted Sandpiper, White tipped Dove, Groove-billed Ani, Golden-fronted Woodpecker, Great Kiskadee, Green Jay, Black-crested Titmouse, Olive Sparrow, Botteri's Sparrow, and over 20 species of Warblers!

Minot Conference

Take the nearest flyway to Minot this coming June for the ABA Minot Conference from 14-19 of June 2009. Nest at the Holiday Inn Riverside where you will take in three and one half days of field trips and a half day workshop by Jon Dunn on Sparrows!

ABA River of Raptors Conference
